Flat Channel Letter (Nested)
The nesting process makes the components closely combined through precision splicing, the surface is flat and seamless, the overall effect is uniform and beautiful, and at the same time greatly enhances the stability and durability of the structure, which is widely used in products such as luminous characters and light boxes.
This process contrasts the unnested with the glowing words of the nested process. There are two ways to manifest it in practical applications:
To the left of the image is an unnested structure. The light source is placed directly inside the word shell, and the light mainly shines through from the front, with limited brightness and flat luminous effect.
On the right side of the picture is a nested structure. Through the independent bottom plate for card slot nesting, the light source is more stable to install, the light is reflected and diffused between the bottom plate and the word shell, the brightness of the front is significantly enhanced, and the overall luminescence is more uniform and full
Full process production process:
Step 1: Import the 2D file or enter the text.
Step 2: Adjust the parameters to generate the model (configurable parameters include: wall thickness, base thickness, overall letter height, letter thickness, step width, step height).
Step 3: Export STL and PLT files.
Step 4: Slice (select template).
Step 5: Print and cut the acrylic.
Step 6: Assemble.
